Afropenda Halloween Tarot — Official Rules
Sponsor. Afropenda, 1209 Mountain Road Place NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA.
Promotion period. Saturday, October 3, 2026, 12:00 AM through Sunday, October 4, 2026, 11:59 PM, Pacific Time. Free cards can be turned from Saturday, October 3, 2026, 9:00 AM Pacific Time.
Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
1. The free card
How to turn it. Anyone may turn one (1) free card by opening the Halloween Private Sale page and choosing one of three cards. Visitors who open the page from the link texted to them by Afropenda are identified by that link; other visitors enter their email address before choosing a card. No purchase necessary. One free card per person, per phone number and per email address for the whole promotion; opening the page again shows the same card.
Text list not required. Joining Afropenda's text list is not required to play. Message and data rates may apply to texts; consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Leggings won on a free card are claimed through a checkout link sent to the email address on file for the text subscriber or entered on the page.
Prizes. Each free card is either a free pair of leggings (approximate retail value $39.99) or a code for $5 off one order. Two hundred (200) pairs of leggings are available in total. They are released over the two days: 50 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time on Saturday, October 3, 2026, 60 by 10:40 AM, then gradually to 100 by 11:59 PM that day; 125 at 9:00 AM on Sunday, October 4, 2026, then gradually to 200 by 11:00 PM. While released leggings remain, the chance that a card is leggings is 1 in 3; otherwise, and whenever no released leggings are available, the card is a $5-off code. Leggings not won by the end of the promotion period are not awarded.
Claiming leggings. The winner chooses a print and a size, and we email a checkout link to the email address on file for the winner (or the email the winner enters); the leggings are free and the winner pays $9.99 shipping at that checkout, after adding a shipping address. Leggings must be claimed by Sunday, October 11, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific Time. One free pair per person and per shipping address.
2. A card with every sale order of $50 or more
How to get one. Every order placed on afropenda.com during the promotion period that contains at least one item from the Halloween Private Sale and has an order total of $50.00 or more (the amount charged, including shipping and taxes) receives one (1) tarot card, shown on the order confirmation page. Orders under $50.00 do not receive a card. Orders containing only regular-price items receive a Mystery Pumpkin instead (see the Mystery Pumpkin Official Rules). One card per order; there is no limit on the number of orders.
No purchase necessary alternative. To receive one (1) card without a purchase, email support@afropenda.com during the promotion period with the subject line "Tarot card" and your full name. One free card per person for the whole promotion, drawn from the same daily prize pool with the same odds as a purchase card.
Prizes and odds. Every card contains a prize, assigned at random when the card is turned, from a daily prize pool: a free cosplay dress (approximate retail value $89.99) chosen by the winner from 12 designs; a free pair of leggings (approximate retail value $39.99); a free silk scarf (approximate retail value $41.99); a free V-neck tee (approximate retail value $34.99); or a code for $5 off one order. Each physical prize is available in limited quantity each day; once one is no longer available that day, remaining cards receive one of the other prizes. The $5-off code is available in unlimited quantity, so every card contains a prize. Odds depend on the number of cards turned that day.
3. The Midnight 20
Points. There are two separate daily races: Saturday, October 3, 2026 (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM Pacific Time) and Sunday, October 4, 2026 (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM Pacific Time). Every $1 of merchandise on orders placed on afropenda.com during a race day earns 1 point in that day's race; points do not carry over to the next day. Points count the merchandise subtotal after discounts and exclude shipping, taxes, and gift, exchange or replacement orders. Amounts cancelled or refunded are deducted. Orders are combined per customer. Tarot cards do not add points.
Leaderboard. The standings for the current day are shown at afropenda.com/pages/leaderboard, updated about every 10 minutes, with first names shortened and city and state only. If two customers have the same points, the customer who reached that score first ranks higher.
Prizes. At the end of each race day (11:59 PM Pacific Time), the 20 highest-ranked customers of that day win: ranks 4–20 one dress (from our 10 best-selling Halloween prints or our 10 all-time best sellers) and one pair of leggings, chosen by the winner (approximate retail value up to $129.98); ranks 2–3 the same plus a silk scarf (approximate retail value $41.99); rank 1 the same plus $100.00 cash back, refunded to the original payment method of the winner's qualifying order(s). Up to 40 customers win in total; a customer who places on both days wins the prizes of both days. Physical prizes ship free, with the winner's order when possible. Final standings are confirmed after cancellations and refunds are processed; winners are notified by email by Friday, October 9, 2026.
How prizes are delivered
Discount codes are shown on the card page, are single-use, may not be combined with another order discount, and expire on Sunday, October 4, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Free items from order cards and Midnight 20 prizes ship free, with the customer's order when possible or as a separate $0.00 order to the shipping address of the customer's latest qualifying order; free-card leggings ship to the address entered at that checkout.
Conditions
If a winning order is cancelled or fully refunded, its prize is forfeited and any unused code is cancelled. Prizes are not transferable and may not be substituted, except by the Sponsor if a prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for any taxes. The Sponsor may disqualify entries made by automated means, by tampering with links, or with multiple identities. The Sponsor's decisions are final.
